It was close to the conference we were attending. There was a decent breakfast restaurant nearby.
The "breakfast" was a sad joke--no milk for the instant oatmeal, no cream for the coffee (just sweetened flavored fake stuff), a handful of granola bars. The room's windows had no sheers, so we couldn't open the curtains without the entire parking lot staring in. The kitchen had nary a dish, pot, napkin, fork--anything--in it.
Not much, This was the first time I stayed with this motel and hope would be the last.
Front desk seems like don't want to be there, don't even have the curtsy to welcome the guest. None of them don't even say or smile when you enter. Room phone and light didn't work and it took 4 days to fix it.
The queen size bed was comfortable. The restroom was well stocked (clean towels, shampoo, etc.). Quiet area which led to a restful stay.
First, the staff did not have our reservation as I requested. I had called to modify the dates, and the changes were not applied, therefore my reservation was marked as a "no show". And I was charged a fee for "not showing up". The front desk staff was rude and at first did not seem to really listen or empathize about the situation. However, she did end up helping me. Even though it was not necessarily her fault, she never once apologized for the situation. In my opinion the staff lacked professionalism, a caring & understanding attitude. Secondly, there was a deodorant under our bed, which indicates the room was not thoroughly cleaned. Finally, the "breakfast" was not what I expected, nothing fresh and no variety.
Bed was comfortable maid was helpful
First assigned room not cleaned. After breakfast second day room key had to be reset. No sign outside to tell me that was the place.
Tried to charge my card an additional $300 after I left. I had to call back and fight with the front desk clerk to have it rectified. They never apologized and acted like I was the problem. I am still waiting for my account to be reimbursed. The elevators were filthy and the halls constantly smelled like marijuana. They called to let me know that I had missed check out although I still had three days left on my reservation. I had to go to the front desk and show the e mail from bookings.com proving I still had the room. Again the attendant argued with me then reluctantly fixed the problem once she saw proof and never apologized. Totally unprofessional and I will not be staying there again.
After ariving at 8:00 in the evening I was told my room was still not cleaned. I waited another 1 hour and 15 minutes before being given a room. At 12:45 at night the manager awoke me to ask my name. Apparently I was charged for the room and given another because it wasn't ready. The next evening my door key wouldn't open the door so I asked for it to be reactivated. A different desk person informed me he had no record of me being in the room and charged me for another night even though I had already paid for two nights. It wasn't until I brought my receipt down to him that he canceled the extra charge. I never even asked for the bathroom florescent light bulb to be replaced and had to shave and shower in the dark. Each trip to the front desk took over 1/2 hour and I believe a good manager could have just called the person who worked the night before and cleared up everything. Instead I was treated with little or no respect. Even after staying there over 12 weeks in the last year.
Room service didn't exist - were nor informed that there was NO room service at booking or at check in. Very very poor.
The room was nicely cleaned.
Management will treat you like a criminal! The ladys run the hotel.
Larry and Randy! Need to learn how to talk to people! Not treat people like a criminal but understand some people are there because there house burn down are they are looking for a place. My company will no longer be doing business with Extended Stay! I would like to give corporate and I do not remember the gentleman's name a five-star for actually explaining to me and helping me out with the situation! I was there for three weeks now I won't even stay a day!
I love the price for the rooms
The building could have been a lot cleaner it looked like no one has cleaned the lobby or elevators in weeks
I was very comfortable and it was quiet as I slept almost my entire stay
Ease of checking in
Cleanliness was poor. Loud neighbors and we have a 6month old
Close to where I needed to be for my event.
Had a hard time being able to check in. Told the room would be ready for us to use at 1:15, walked in the room and it was still filled with the previous guests trash and the cleaning cart but no one cleaning the room. Talked to the manager, got a new room. Which had no pillows or towels and bedding had holes in it. Took a while to get sorted out.
I've use the Extended Stay America properties before. They all seem to have a similar format - a decent sized room, a comfortable bed, a kitchenette and an eating/work area. There's no cooking equipment in the room but you can order any pans, utensils etc and they're brought up to your room. The room itself was neat and tidy but the corridors and general areas definitely needed some attention. I cooked my own breakfast but if you're relying on the one provided - its a bit minimal (coffee, cereal bar or porridge). I'd certainly use this 'chain' again.
The bed was comfortable, location good.
Immediate impression-filthy lobby and run down. It looked like a hàlf-way house. We were exhausted and had already booked or would have left. The depressing facility shows lack of respect for customers.
